The cost of our bags-

 

 

 

 

 

For every $100 donated, we are able to feed approximately 14 children for the weekend.  Our bags currently cost just approximately $6-7 per filled bag.  We are a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), and we rely on food and monetary donations to fund our ministry, and we utilize 100% unpaid volunteers.  We also utilize local food vendors for our bag supplies.

What we’ve accomplished:

God placed a calling on our founding members to address a need in our community. We accepted God's calling and put into action His Will.  We are a faith based, non-profit ministry established to fight childhood hunger in our community.  All donations made to our ministry are tax deductible.

We are partnering with local businesses, churches and volunteers in our mission to fight childhood hunger.

Businesses and individuals can now donate online on our website. Additionally, we are easily accessible on social media via Facebook, X, Tumblr and Instagram.

We’ve formed a Financial and Fundraising Team to support our mission through various fundraising efforts. We have a Meat Raffle and Golf Scramble scheduled annually. For 2025-26, we will be spending and raising nearly $161,000 to support this ministry. We are projected to fill and send home nearly 23,000 bags and snacks for the summer program at Prendergast Library.
